The styles or themes of minimalist home interior

In interior design, choosing a style to make a space or room complete is one of the more difficult things to do. There are so many different styles out there that can easily distract a designer to figure out what would be the best to use, especially if the designer is not lucky enough to meet or understand the person he or she is designing the space for. The styles or themes can vary from periodical to contemporary to futuristic.

Periodic interior design usually follows a period. Some can consider the Victorian era which would have included elements from the Renaissance or Queen Anne if they want to appear more organized and classic. Others might find it better to use Louis XVI themes to appear more high and prominent. However, if the room is to fit someone who does not want any clutter as much as possible, an interior designer may want to consider the Minimalist style where all materials being considered will focus on the fundamental features.

In contemporary, designers are freer to intertwine pieces and styles of different periods and create a fusion style. Here, you may see a Zen design with touches of futuristic furniture. Or an interior designer might feel that the Indian style room she?s created needs to have a touch of American decorations. Contemporary Interior designing allows one to mix and match their design styles.

Futuristic interior design has a more unconventional look. It uses materials and designs that are not common in our day or in the past. Most futuristic designs use the color white with just touches of black or any other color that contrast each other. Spaces with a futuristic theme also consider the shapes of the walls or the rooms. These rooms usually give you the freedom to live imaginatively.

There are so many things to consider when you are trying to design a space, but the theme you use is what makes the space complete. Although you may be creative in interior designing, keep in mind that the theme should match its purpose as well.

If you are not sure about how to interior decorate your home, you may seek help from experts or companies who specialize in designing the interiors of your home. A simple search in google will lead you to these experts and companies. When choosing, check the background of the expert or company you are interested to hire and ask for samples of previous work.

minimalist home with Large floor pillows

Large floor pillows have long been used as a functional and decorative piece in homes for centuries. They are popular in Algerian, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Egyptian and Moroccan cultures and have now crossed over to other countries. This comes as no surprise since they are beautiful and useful. And you can always count on them to elevate the appearance of any home or office space, as well as make it more comfortable.

Unlike what most people believe, you do not need your home to have an oriental motif in order to put large floor pillows to good use. You can put a western twist to it so that it can identify with and complement European and American aesthetics. You could start with the coverings you dress them with or the way they are arranged in their home. You could also experiment with the colors so they don?t overwhelm the surrounding furnishings. And maybe incorporate unifying elements to different design themes so that they still some cohesion even though they are unique from each other.

Take for example, in the dining room, you could have a minimalist, low-lying dining table made of glass and steel set up on top of a black and white area rug and then surround it with golden floor pillows for that futuristic look with a traditional Japanese feel. With this particular home interior design, you will have no problem incorporating crystal chandeliers, metal ornaments as well as modern abstract pieces. In the den, you could pick large floor pillows with funky patterns and textures; pile them up in the middle, in front of the television set, and then have a mural hung on the background or a carpet underneath that has all of the colors used represented.

Of course, you can also opt for the conventional feel and have the room or house you own completely decorated in Japanese or Moroccan furnishings. There are a number of shops you can find in your locality or on the web that sells flat, comfy zabutons or zafu (traditional Japanese floor pillows) or round fluffy Moroccan floor pillows. You have to be conscious though about how their innate structures and designs will match the environment they will be placed in. See, typical Japanese floor pillows are simple and bit drab colored while leather-made Moroccan versions are more exotic and a bit overbearing. The same goes of Indian sari floor pillows as most of them are embellished with beads and tapestries.

There are shops online that you can also approach for custom made floor pillows, so you not only get exactly what you want but have complete control over the quality, quantity and appearance of each piece. You could have one made in the shape of a certain character with the accent of an old-fashioned Oriental pillow. Or you could have one made that could accommodate more than one person sleeping. You can also designate whether these pillows will have cotton, polyester, feather or foam fillings. Whatever you go with, you are definitely guaranteed a unique and therapeutic experience when you provide your home floor pillow fixtures.

Cheerful Interior Design for Small Apartment

If you live in a very small apartment the best way to stay out of depression is to make its interior cheerful and fun. Polish architect Jakub Szczesny from Centrala had took in mind that idea when he designed this 21,5 square meter apartment in downtown of Warsaw, Poland. There is just 300m from new bridge over Vistula to the Tamka apartment and it has a great view of the Royal Castle. The apartment also features several very interesting space saving solutions. Among them is a transformable kitchen/dining area, an elevated sleeping area with washing machine under it, the shower directly in the hallway and so on. The budget of the interior design was around 6000 Euro with equipment included, so materials and paints were used very simple. Although the result is very cute and fun. The apartment is a great place for the owner to play with his son several times a week.

Modern And Vintage Interior Design In Shades Of Pink

The owners of this beautiful apartment in Barcelona love pink and its shades. The interior is a unique combination of new fresh furniture and vintage details. The ceiling height with its tile roof and wooden beams and brick walls were preserved but a second floor was added to accommodate the master bedroom to give some space for seclusion to the parents. The interior breathes with fun: pastel color of the fridge, pink table and crimson sofa; the first floor is brighter; as the main color is white it was easy to add some stylish colorful accents and combine them well. The second floor is decorated with the same colors but more delicate. Bright modern furniture with some vintage details – that’s the recipe of an amazing interior!
